Director of Rehabilitation - Skilled Nursing - Nursing Home
Are you an experienced Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), or Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with managerial experience? Are you seeking a growth opportunity to lead the Rehabilitation program for a local Skilled Nursing facility? Then keep reading....
We are a 100 bed Nursing Home located in the metro area of Lubbock. We are seeking an experienced, dedicated, and caring Director of Rehab to oversee all clinical and operational activities for the facility rehabilitation team.
Our rehabilitation services are part of a growing nationwide rehabilitation organization, so we offer excellent support, competitive compensation, and career growth opportunities.
** We will provide relocation assistance. **
Key responsibilities include:
- Report directly to the Area Manager, providing updates and regular reports
- Oversight of patient care and caseload management with some hands-on patient care
- Compliance and quality control
- Customer relations and business development
- Staff management and development
- Meeting financial objectives
- Developing and implementing new programs
The qualified candidate will have the following:
- Graduate of an either an ASHA, AOTA, or APTA accredited school of speech/language pathology, occupational therapy, or physical therapy
- Valid SLP, OT, or PT license. (For SLP, must possess Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA)
- Experience with Medicare Billing (PPS)
- Management experience is preferred
